I might have gone a little crazy. Guided by a strange instinct and a lot of luck, I decided to adapt, produce, direct, and co-star in a version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. I was SO lucky in that I found an amazing cast in this Burlington community, and I was given a purpose. Hearing that the local highschool’s drama department was struggling financially in the wake of COVID, it was immediately clear to me that our production needed to be a fundraiser. So it was! We had four performances over the course of last weekend, and we raised over $2,000 for them! I can’t express how wild and fulfilling this whole process was (especially given that we put up the show with $0 and only a month of rehearsal), and I can’t express how grateful I am to my new community.
